Year 5 & 6 Parent-Teacher-Student Conference Bookings Now Open

Bookings for the Term 3 Year 5 and Year 6 Parent-Teacher-Student conferences open on the Parent Portal at 9:00am today, Monday 17 August 2026. Conferences are held on Thursday 27 August 2026, 3:45–7:30pm in the Junior classrooms. These are the mid-year check-ins for our senior Junior students; Prep–Year 4 conferences were held in Term 2. Key details

• Date: Thursday 27 August 2026, 3:45–7:30pm.
• Length: 10-minute slots with the classroom teacher. Specialist teachers (Music, PE, Italian) are available in the Library for informal chats between 4:00 and 6:00pm — no booking needed.
• Students attend. Your child shares their learning goals, so please bring them along in school uniform.
• Bookings close: Wednesday 26 August 2026 at 12:00pm.

How to book

1. Log in to the Parent Portal (web or the St Mary's Connect app).
2. Choose Interviews → Year 5 & 6 Conferences – Term 3.
3. Select your child's teacher and an available time. Families with two children in Years 5–6 can book back-to-back slots; please leave a 10-minute gap if the teachers are in different buildings.
4. You will receive a confirmation email. Bookings can be changed or cancelled on the Portal until the closing time.

If you cannot attend

Teachers will not be available for walk-in conferences on the night. If no time suits, email your child's teacher via the Portal and a phone conference will be arranged in the following fortnight.

Please note that OSHC after care runs as normal on Thursday 27 August; the Hall Annexe is a short walk from the Junior classrooms if you wish to collect your child on the way to your appointment.
