Canteen Menu & Lunch Orders
The Harbour Café menu for Terms 3 and 4 2026 with prices, halal and gluten-free options, how to order online by 8:30am, opening days for Junior and Senior students, and special days such as Sushi Wednesday and Footy Colours Pie Day.
The Harbour Café is the College canteen, run by Canteen Manager Mrs Maria Costa with a wonderful team of parent volunteers. It is open to Junior students (Prep–Year 6) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and to Senior students (Years 7–12) Monday to Friday. St Mary's is a nut-aware school: no nut products are sold, and halal (H) and gluten-free (GF) options are marked on the menu below.
How to order
- Junior School (P–6): all orders are placed online via the Parent Portal > Lunch Orders (or the St Mary's Connect app) by 8:30am on the day. The Junior canteen is cashless. Orders are packed into class tubs and delivered to classrooms at 1:15pm.
- Senior School (7–12): order online by 8:30am and collect from the canteen window with your order name, or buy over the counter at recess (10:55–11:20am) and lunch (1:20–2:05pm) using the student ID card. Cards are cashless – top up via Portal > Payments.
- Cancellations: cancel in the Portal before 8:30am for a full credit. Orders for absent students are held at the canteen until 2:00pm if you call before 9:30am.
- Orders can be placed up to two weeks ahead, which is handy for busy mornings.

Allergies and dietary needs
No nuts or nut products are sold. Ingredient lists for every item are available from Mrs Costa on request. If your child has a diagnosed allergy or intolerance, note it in the "dietary requirements" field of your Lunch Orders profile so it prints on their bag label. Students with anaphylaxis action plans should only order items their plan permits – see Medical Forms & Health.
Volunteering in the canteen
The canteen relies on volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am–1:30pm (a half shift is fine). You will need a Working With Children Check and the online induction – details on Volunteering & WWCC. Volunteers receive a free lunch and endless gratitude.
