Second-hand Uniform Sales
P&F second-hand uniform sales on the second Saturday of each term month, 9:00–11:00am in the Hall foyer — 2026 dates, how to donate, indicative prices and payment.
The P&F runs a second-hand uniform shop that sells good-quality, pre-loved College uniform at a fraction of new prices. It is a practical way to keep a growing child in uniform without buying a $215 blazer they will outgrow in eighteen months, and all proceeds go to P&F projects — in 2026, shade sails for the Junior playground. New items are sold separately through the Uniform Shop.
When and where
Sales are held on the second Saturday of each month during term, 9:00–11:00am, in the Mary MacKillop Hall foyer (enter from the Main car park off Chapel Road). No booking is needed — just come along, browse the racks and try things on behind the screens.
| Date | Notes |
|---|---|
| Saturday 12 September 2026 | Last sale of Term 3. Good time to grab summer dresses, shorts and hats ahead of Term 4 (summer uniform from Monday 5 October 2026). |
| Saturday 10 October 2026 | Summer stock; sport uniform for Term 4 sport. |
| Saturday 14 November 2026 | Sizes for 2027 — bring your child to try the next size up. |
| Saturday 12 December 2026 | Final sale of the year; Year 6 leavers' blazer and kilt donations start arriving. Also a good chance to pick up a first Senior blazer for Year 7 2027. |
The first sale of 2027 is expected to be Saturday 13 February 2027; the date will be confirmed in the Lumen newsletter and on the Parent Portal.
We are not open for second-hand sales at other times, but if you need something urgently mid-term (a lost jumper, a sudden growth spurt), email pandf@stmaryswc.vic.edu.au with the item and size and we will check the racks and arrange collection from the Junior Office within a few days.

What sells fast
- Blazers, kilts and jumpers go quickly at the February and April sales, before winter (Terms 2 and 3). If your child will need a blazer for Year 7 2027, the December and February sales are your best chance.
- Summer dresses, shorts and hats are in demand at the September sale before Term 4.
- Sport tracksuits in Junior sizes are always short — donate yours!
- Blazers in sizes 10–14 are the hardest to find in any month.
How to donate
Donations are the lifeblood of the shop and are gratefully received at any time of year.
- Items must be current-style College uniform (we cannot sell the old-style grey tracksuit or pre-2020 sport polo), clean and freshly laundered, and in good, saleable condition — no significant stains, holes or missing buttons. Blazers are best dry-cleaned.
- Remove or cross out name tags and empty the pockets.
- Put items in a bag labelled "P&F Second-hand" and drop it at the Junior Office (8:00am–4:30pm, school days), or bring it to a Saturday sale.
- Donations are outright gifts to the P&F — we do not sell on consignment or on your behalf.
Unnamed items left in Lost Property at the end of each term are also passed to the second-hand shop.
Volunteering
Each sale needs four or five helpers from 8:30am to 11:30am to set up racks, size and grade stock, and serve. It is a sociable two-and-a-half hours and a good way to meet other families. The sale runs in the public foyer alongside other adults with no unsupervised contact with students, so a Working with Children Check is not required, although the College's online induction is encouraged — see Volunteering & WWCC. To help, email pandf@stmaryswc.vic.edu.au or add your name to the sign-up sheet on the Portal under Forms.
