Footwear

Predominantly white runners with non-marking soles, laced. Fluorescent or predominantly black runners, skate shoes, slides and Crocs are not permitted. Football boots, cricket shoes, spikes and hockey shoes are worn for training and games only and carried in a bag. Runners are replaced when the sole is worn through — check before each season.

Hair, jewellery and other rules

The general grooming rules apply at sport: hair below the collar tied back, one plain stud per ear (removed or taped for netball, basketball and football), watch removed for contact sports, no other jewellery. Nails must be short for netball and basketball. Sunscreen and hats are compulsory for outdoor sport in Terms 1 and 4 under the SunSmart Policy.

Team gear on loan

The College supplies and retains ownership of playing kit: netball dresses and bibs, football guernseys, soccer strips, basketball singlets, hockey and volleyball shirts, cricket shirts and caps, and athletics singlets. Kit is issued at the start of each season, washed at home, and returned at the last game. Replacement charges apply for lost items: guernsey/strip $85, netball dress $70, bib set $120 (team), singlet $45.

Junior School notes

Prep to Year 2 students wear the sport uniform on their PE day and for Friday PMP. The tracksuit pants replace long grey trousers on sport days in winter. Name every item in permanent marker — Junior lost property fills a box each week; see Lost Property.
